This is the variant cover I drew for Bravest Warriors #11! :D

I was allowed to draw pretty much whatever I wanted. Somehow I ended up with the team fishing for giant space axolotls (with Danny as the bait)

Fun fact: I was a huuuuuge fan of Digimon as a kid. I loved Pokemon, but then Digimon came out and I was hooked. I think it was because there was that blend of both cartoony and “bad-ass” designs. Something there for everyone to like.

It was even the first show I created ~~cliche~~ fan-characters for. Good times.

So I lied. I honestly tried to play Mass Effect already.

Except just as I was about to finalize my character creation (which took forever because I’m picky and honestly none of the faces are really that good looking) the game glitched on me. I could move my mouse around and menu rollover animations worked, but nothing happened when I clicked on things. At all. So I had to force-quit.

The Universe is telling my to stop and get back to work ._.

I figured what the hell. Going the the cheaper option! :P I’m actually not going to allow myself to play it until after classes+work are over (because I undoubtedly will never get anything done if I do).

But I have a feeling this is going to ruin me. 8)

@krudman: The Trilogy is available as all three games for the PS3. (it says so right on Bioware’s website)

Steam is offering Mass Effect 1+2 for only 10$ right now. I really really really want it.

However I had been eying the Trilogy set for PS3 for a while (waiting for the price to go down…). I prefer games on console, simply because it’s what I’m use to. But this PC deal is suuuuper cheap and almost a steal.

So my fellow gamers. How does the game play on PC (or console)? My computer’s got 8gb RAM and 3.60Ghz processor, with an OK graphics card, so it should be able to handle it. I’m just not use to keyboard controls :T

quick (ugly) doodle of Sylveon. Partway through it I got to thinking, what are the ribbons made of? Flesh?

New headcanon is that the ribbons are actually prehensile tentacles that it uses to strangle its victims. Remember, never trust the cute ones. Especially if they are pink.

SO re-designing Yale’s Art School website is actually making me really angry

Like I keep picking through it looking for info to pull and paste into the new design

and I keep finding new pages buried within other pages. Like 4 pages in I finally find ‘general info’. Every single page’s navigation is different and I keep finding stuff hidden everywhere. 9_6

Granted I only have to technically design 7 pages for the project, but we have to make the navigation and all the info/links look as if they function. So I’m trying to organize everything based on what they have and don’t have. I’ve had to re-structure it twice now because I find info that I didn’t think they previously had.

I don’t care if it’s the #1 design college. I hate this school for their website alone.

Morning warm-up doodle (it’s so nice to finally have the time/energy to do these again).

Mew…three? (whatever the new Mew is called). Since I’m drawing all the other pokemon in order, it will be eons before I get to the very end, so I don’t feel bad about skipping ahead to doodle the new ones.

Quick warm-up sketch using last night’s list. Someone said ‘tapir’ which led me to looking up the mythos of the Baku spirit. Kind of a realistic interpretation? Added Malayan tapir colors (because they look like the pig version of pandas), with some stripes to emphasis the tiger feet.

First ones that inspired me were ‘something with horns’, ‘unicorn’, and ‘markhor’ (I’ll admit I had to look that one up. Instant hell yes). And because I’m just that predictable, I added teeth and spikes. Because why not.
